Paul was born August 30, 1955 in Fort Worth to Paul L. and Grace (Story) Mayo. He graduated from Arlington Heights High School in Arlington. He worked as a truck driver for nearly 40 years last working for Saia Freight Lines.
Paul is survived by one son, Derrick Mayo and wife Nikki of Abilene; his parents Paul and Grace Mayo of Granbury; one brother Ronnie Brown and two sisters Gloria Ansley and Paula Brower all of Fort Worth; and three grandchildren Trinity Nicole Mayo, Joshua Moore, and Keira Mayo.
