Mary Helen and I went to school together at Mary Louise Phillips (and all the way through Heights). When I saw her at one of our earlier reunions, I told her a story about her brother Mike, who was in Scouts with me and my brother David, and died young in a motorcycle accident. She smiled and told me that I was one of the few who actually remembered her brother. It made her happy. Rest in peace, Mary Helen!
I am saddened to see this. I also knew Mary Helen from Mary Louise Phillips and I remember her as someone who was always friendly and kind to everyone. There was a rare warmth about her that made her easy to talk to. I am sure she touched many lives.
