Halloween is my favorite and I share that with my four grandkids because none of the other grandparents really want it!  Thanksgiving is my second - love the cold snap, leaves turning (uh, if we get those in Texas but this year is good!), family and friends.  For years in my 20-30s, I hosted an 'orphans' Thanksgiving for everyone I knew who couldn't get home for Thanksgiving.  It was great!  I continued the tradition after my divorce 10 years ago but people have settled now.  I still look forward to it all!

Sure wish I could could come up tomorrow and wish all a Merry Christmas.  In stead, I will pray that the roads are clear and safe for those that show up for the Christmas Party.  May you all enjoy the commaraderie and find a peace-filled year to come.
